Race Info
The "Holo Niu & Holo Tiki Challenge" for OC1/OC2/SUP and surfskis will be
held on
Saturday, June 5, 2010 @ Kent Island Yacht Club • Chester,
MD (map & directions)
We look forward to this event and as always - we will approach the day in true Hawaiian Style. If you are traveling from a great distance and running a LITTLE late, just call Deb's cell (410-404-0618) and we'll do our best to wait for you.
- Registration starts @ 8:30 a.m., race morning
- Entry fee is $15 per participant (includes race, lunch and beer/soda following the event)
- $5 for lunch for non-paddlers
- 10 a.m. - race start for all classes. If necessary we will run a separate novice race after the Point Series race. If canoe-sharing is not an issue, novices will run with the group start.
- Long Course - 8 miles (ECORA Point Series Race)
- Short Course - 4 miles
- Course length and direction will be finalized the morning of the race depending on wind and weather conditions
- OC1, OC2, SUP and Surf Skis entries welcome
Remember all dogs must be on a leash - and children supervised at all times. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you prepare for your visit.
