KIOCC presents the...
Kent Island Cup 2007
This year's Kent Island Cup will again be a team relay format. Racing will start on Saturday with a course that stretches 35 miles and circumnavigates Kent Island. After the relay race, our lu'au party will feature great drinks and food with entertainment by the Aloha Boys and Hula Monsters.
Sunday's activities will include regatta sprints and OC1 relays.

Regatta Sprints and OC1 Racing @ ~10:00 a.m.
Racing Formats
Saturday - Kent Island Cup Team Relay (35 Miles)
- Teams will race wil a maximum of 12 people (OC6), 4 people (OC2), and 2 people (OC1). There will be 4 race legs with land-based change outs.
- The race will start and finish at the Kent Island Yacht Club and each leg will be between 7-10 miles long.
- THERE WILL BE 9 DIVISIONS.
· OC-6 MENS (UP TO 12 MEN)
· OC-6 WOMENS (UP TO 12 WOMEN)
· OC-6 MIXED (UP TO 6 MEN AND 6 WOMEN IN EVENLY MIXED CREWS)
· OC-2 MENS (4 MEN)
· OC-2 WOMENS (4 WOMEN)
· OC-2 MIXED (2 MEN & 2 WOMEN)
· OC-1 MENS (2 MEN)
· OC-1 WOMENS (2 WOMEN)
· OC-1 MIXED (1 MAN & 1 WOMAN)

Sunday - Regatta Sprints & Relay Races
All interested teams that have recovered from Saturday Night's lu'au must sign-up by 9:30 a.m.
Regatta Sprints
Starts at 10a.m. and consist of a standard 1/4 mile down and back course. We will have OC4 and OC6 divisions racing in heats with the first two boats advancing to the next round.
OC1 Relays
Teams will be madeup of 2 men and 2 women. We will race 1/4 mile (total distance) triangular course with each team member paddling the course and making a land change out.
Leave Your Rudder at the Dock Race
Single paddler event, racing the same 1/4 mile course without a rudder!
